Our company is an affiliated member of the Japan Association of Travel Agencies [JATA]. As such, we are required by law to publish the full terms and conditions of booking accommodation and travel tours in accordance with Japanese law.
Whilst the document in the following link may seem rather technical, we are required to show our full terms and conditions as noted here.
The below page gives an overview of information as follows:
1. Credit Cards
A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation - bookings are not fully confirmed until your credit card has been debited for the booking fee. You can choose to enter your credit card details on our secure server, or you can send them to us by fax on +81 (0) 25 784 3107.
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
One of the points of most immediate relevance to our clients is our cancellation and no-show policy. We have taken the greatest care to protect our customers by establishing the following policy in full accordance with Japanese law - again, the terms below may seem overly technical, though we are required to explain as follows;
a. Cancellation fee (in the case of Domestic travel tours)
Applies to Agent-Organized Tour Contracts, except for cases mentioned in the following sections a) to e)
Clients remaining in the tour will incur the balance of additional per room costs associated with the change in number of participants.
(a) If cancellation is made on or after the 20th day (10th day in caseof a one day trip)
prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel, excluding the cases mentioned in (b) through (e); 20% or less of the travel fee
(b) If cancellation is made on or after the 7th day prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel, excluding the cases mentioned in (c) through (e); 30% or less of the travel fee
(c) If cancellation is made on the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel
40% or less of the travel fee
(d) If cancellation is made on the date of commencement of the travel, (excluding the case mentioned in (e); 50% or less of the travel fee
(e) In case of cancellation after the commencement of the travel or of nonparticipation without communication 100% or less of the travel fee
Under Japanese law,trip cancellation is calculated using the day before the start day of the trip as a base. Weekends and national holidays are excluded this calculation,and notice for cancellation can only be dealt with during We love snow.com business hours:Monday-Friday,9am-6pm.
b. Cancellation fee （In the case of bookings for acommodation only）
Clients remaining in the tour will incur the balance of additional per room costs associated with the change in number of participants.

Remarks:
１.The percentages signifies the rate of cancellation change to the Basic Accommodation Charges.
２.When the number of days contracted is shortened, cancellation charge for its first day shall be paid by the Guest regardless of the number of days shortened. |
