Indoor onsen
The water for this bath is drawn from the same mineral water source as the famous Ogama Onsen, which has been designated as one of Japan's Natural Monuments. It is rich in sodium and calcium and also contains sulfuric salt.
Outdoor onsen
(Open air bath) Drawn from the same volcanic mineral water source as Shinyu Onsen, which is known as the premier onsen hot spring in this town. This simple sulphur hot spring also contains 100% natural mineral water. |

Note: In order to reach the ski area from the onsen town, there are 2 connecting lifts which take you to the ski area directly. The lifts are 5-7 minutes away from Kawaichiya by foot. There is also a shuttle bus option. The bus stop is 2-3 minutes away.
