Hotel Description:
Sierra Resort Hakuba is a deluxe hotel, an exceptional mountain retreat set in stunning woodland countryside. This is a hotel to enjoy the natural setting and clean, crisp air of the Japan alps.
During the winter season, a pick up service is available from hotel to ski resorts. It will take about 5 minutes drive from Tsugaike and Iwadake ski resort, and 15 minute drive from Happo-One resort.
This hotel offers superb spa bathing facilities, using the Hakuba ochikura mineral water source located just behind the hotel. The water from this source is rich in sodium carbonate. The temperature of this water is 50 degrees at the source, though this is water is slightly cooled to 42 degrees for a more comfortable bathing experience.
The food at this hotel is exceptional. Sierra Resort Hakuba has special pride in the ingredients sourced for their meals. Only the very best produce is used: sourced from the same farm as used by Michellin 3 star rated chefs in Tokyo. Sierra Resort chefs have won a stream of awards in various competitions during recent years.

The mineral water source has a high saline content, along with sodium monochloride and sodium hydrogen carbonate. The natural mineral water becomes coloured when rising to the surface from its underground water source.
